 The story of Cooky’s Diesel Mechanic Repairs starts in 2020 when Ben Cook decided to start his own business after 8 years in the mechanical industry. In three short years, with great passion and hard work Cooky has developed Cooky’s Diesel Mechanic Repairs into the well-respected business it is today.

Cooky’s Diesel Mechanic Repairs aims to at all times maintain the upmost levels of service for it's customers and strives to place itself at the forefront of delivering exceptional mechanical repairs within the Diesel Mechanic industry.

Cooky is a qualified Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician and has his Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology.

After 32 years working at the Portland Smelter, Carny has changed industries to become the workshop foreman and an invaluable addition to the team. Dave optimizes the running of the workshop and handles all incoming and outgoing deliveries. Dave is always up for a chat and is well versed on the status of all jobs.

Zak joined our team as a fulltime apprentice in January 2022 and has quickly become a valuable asset to the business. Zak is a very hard worker and eager to learn all he can about the Diesel Mechanic industry. We look forward to guiding Zak through the remaining years of his apprenticeship and watching him grow into a passionate and knowledgeable professional.​
